mox™ App

If you're using Chrome or Safari, you can install the mox™ App and receive updates at each launch.

We use Progressive Web Apps (PWA) to generate our app using the web browser. For the best experience, we recommend using Safari for Apple users or Chrome for Android and Windows users.

How to Install the mox™ App:

On Safari iOS:

  1. Open Safari and navigate to the mox™ website.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top right corner.

On Safari macOS:

  1. Open Safari and go to the mox™ website.
  2. Click on the File menu.
  3. Select Add to Dock.
  4. Follow the prompts to add the app to your Dock.

On Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome and visit the mox™ website.
  2. Click the three dots menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Install Mox™ or Add to Home Screen.
  4. Follow the prompts to install the app.

Other web browsers:

If you can’t find the “Add to Home Screen” button, try searching on Google for “add app home screen + your web browser name” for detailed instructions specific to your browser.

With these steps, you can easily install the mox™ App like any other app on your  device and receive updates automatically at each launch.

More about PWA:

PWA offer several advantages over native apps for websites:

  1. Cross-Platform Compatibility: PWAs work across different devices and platforms, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones, using a single codebase.
  2. No Installation Required: Users can access PWAs directly through a web browser without needing to download and install them from an app store.
  3. Offline Functionality: PWAs can work offline or in low network conditions by caching essential resources, which enhances user experience especially in areas with poor connectivity.
  4. Improved Performance: They load quickly and smoothly, providing a more responsive experience compared to traditional websites.
  5. Engagement and Accessibility: PWAs can send push notifications and be added to the home screen, making them easily accessible and engaging for users.
  6. Seamless Updates: Updates to PWAs are instantly available to users upon their next visit, ensuring they always have access to the latest features and improvements.

Overall, PWAs combine the reach of the web with the capabilities of native apps, offering a compelling alternative for businesses and developers looking to provide a robust, user-friendly experience across devices.
