What are Route, Place and Experience ?
– Route
A route refers to any trip taken by road, sea, or air. The focus here is solely on the trip itself. If you want to refer to specific places or share experiences during the trip, please create a new entry for each or mention them in the “Author Tips & Tricks” section during submission.
– Place
A place can be a city, a monument, a spot to visit, a viewpoint, or any location where you can take a break and fill your eyes with stars.
– Experience
Experience refer to anything you pay for in terms of services or products, such as a coffee shop, restaurant, hotel, or store.
How to post a Place or Experience entry ?
- Click on “Add New” or “+” if you are using a mobile device.
- Select your entry type: Place, or Experience.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Upload your photos.
- Use the exact address for a Place or Experience.
- Include any relevant social media links.
- Once submitted, your entry will be pending for review by the administrator.
How to share my Route / Track ?
To share a GPX route or track, follow these steps and use the [ tsmap id=your_track_ID ]
tag on your “Manage Tracks” page:
- Click on “Add New” or “+” if you’re on a mobile device.
- Select “Route” as your entry type.
- Choose the environment: Air (for aircraft), Land (for cars), or Sea (for boats).
- Fill in all required fields.
- Upload photos related to your route.
- Specify Distance, Road Type, Price, and Difficulty.
- Use the starting point address.
- Copy the
[ tsmap id=your_track_ID ]
tag from your “Manage Track” page and ensuring the Track ID matches the Download Track ID (e.g.,[ tsmap id=01 ]
&[ tslink id=01 ]
). - Include any relevant social media links.
- Submit your entry. It will be pending review by the administrator.
Is mox™ free, how about my datas ?
Yes! Our services are completely free for everyone, without any limitations, as stated in our ‘About Us‘ section. For more details, you can read our ‘C.U.S‘ and ‘P.P‘, which are designed to be simple and clear for everyone’s understanding. We rely on our community to manage itself. SPHER L.T.D ensures code updates and new features.
Regarding personal data, we only use it to enhance your user experience, and it remains secure on our servers. We do not use it for marketing or any other purposes. In the future, if website traffic increases significantly, we may introduce additional features for a small fee.
I’m a professional. How can I promote this ?
Yes, and it’s completely free! Our two requirements are transparency and a connection with the spirit of travel. When submitting an entry, you must check ‘I’m a professional’ checkbox. Attempting to hide information is counterproductive and undermines community trust.
That’s why we offer this fair deal: promote freely and commit to transparency to maintain trust within our community. Submissions that do not meet both conditions will not be approved.
How to set my GPS app to track me ?
First, choose an app from the list and create your account on our platform. We will generate a username and password for connecting to the GPS app during account creation.
From the ‘Tracker Settings‘ page, you can generate a new password and click ‘Update’. Copy the URL provided matching your app, including the clear password, and paste it into your GPS app. Refer to your app’s documentation for detailed instructions on where to use this URL.
Once done, activating tracking on your app will automatically send and store datas in your mox™ account. Use the ‘Manage Tracks‘ page to copy tags for sharing and more.
Can I import / download route ?
Yes with GPX file format, upload your track using the ‘Upload Track’ button on the ‘Manage Tracks‘ page. The route will be displayed on your dashboard and ready to view or share in posts. You can download the selected route in GPX format. Additionally, you can download GPX files directly from listings to your device for use in your GPS app. Note that large file could crash the upload page. We’re still working on that point.
What do badges signify?
We use user badges to quickly indicate user reliability based on their activity:
- Explorer: 0 entries
- Scout: 1 entry
- Traveler: 2 to 7 entries
- Guide: 7 or more entries
As our platform evolves, we plan to introduce additional rewards. In the future, we aim to offer real-life benefits such as discounts with our upcoming partners. New badges will be issues for platform Administrators thatwill manage users.
Do you compensate influencers or other entities to promote mox™?
No, we do not pay advertisers or influencers to promote. As mentioned, our model does not revolve around money. mox™ is entirely free to use, so we rely on our community to spread the word. Our official voice and founder is Les Couilles sur le Reservoir podcast. We do not respond to requests for paid promotions in any form.
Are my tracking data safe and how are they used?
All user data (including coordinates, tracks, listings, etc.) is securely stored and kept strictly confidential. If you request access to or deletion of your data, we will require you to verify your identity through our ID Check process to ensure that you are the rightful owner of the account and data before taking any action. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we do not share user data under any circumstances.
